Description: - A Victorian 9ct gold seed pearl and onyx brooch.

The oval brooch was crafted from a piece of carved onyx. To the front is overlaid in yellow gold and set with seed pearls. To the reverse is a base metal pin and 9ct rose gold clasp.

As was common for the period, the locket is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 9 carat gold fineness.
